A fun week until the bomb dropped!

This week started off pretty good! Playing with our buddies outside everyday!

Ahh the bubble machine, the best invention know to moms!

On Monday we went to Fed-ex and sent our I800A for baby brother!

After we did that we headed to the pottery place to meet up with friends! Amy and Soph were there along with Kim and Hannah and our new friends Kelley and her sweet little Grayce! Kelley and I have been talking through email and phone but this was our first time getting together!!! The girls had a great time and of course so did the moms! Jaden and Grayce both chose to paint treasure chests! I can't wait to go pick them up next week!

Jaden also got a package from her aunt Betty for Easter! She was thrilled to get mail! Especially mail in such a special envelope!

I just doesn't get any better than a Justin Beiber poster! Thanks aunt Betty!!!
Jaden also got to "help" her daddy put up Warren's dresser!

And then yesterday the bomb dropped! The puke bomb! Poor JJ was napping and 5 minutes into her nap she woke up screaming because she had puked all over herself! My girl does not like to be dirty, so after a few more pukes here and there she had to be bathed from top to bottom! Them mommy had to clean up the living room and kitchen puke! After we got everything and everyone cleaned I laid her back down hoping for a nap, but I was wrong. So what to you do when you have a stomach virus? Well here at our house we dress up our dolls and animals and start cheering!

Jaden was nice enough to pass on her little virus to me so today we are sticking indoors and relaxing! But unlike Jaden I don't feel like dressing up and cheering!
Oh and to matter even worse our yearly visitors have made a return this week. The barn swallows are back and they have started tearing up my front porch again! I am determind there will be no nest this year! 4 years is enough!

Live and learn...

This weekend we went to some friend's house to watch the basketball games. Since it was OSU playing Kansas I of course pulled for Kansas! I pull for anyone who goes against OSU. For the party I made a little something special!

Needless to say there were some very unhappy Buckeyes last night! We had a great time and I was thankful we only had to cross the street to get back home! The kids were playing in the basement while we talked and watched the game. They were checked on every few minutes. I decided to run across the street to get Jaden's PJs and when I came back everyone was missing from the kitchen. I went in the basement and this is what I saw!

And there was much more but I had to put my camera down to clean up. And who made this mess?

Not this sweet angel!

It was our fearsome foursome! They were each blaming the other. By this morning they had all fessed up to having a part in it. Jaden's part was that she was making paw prints up the staircase like Blue's clues! I didn't get a picture of the kids covered in paint but trust me they were all covered! Here is Jaden's shirt to prove it!

We now know to keep the paint away from this crew!!!

I finally got the adapter for my camera and am able to download Jaden's pics from last week. So sit back a relax cause there are alot!

The weather was so nice we were able to have a street party with neighbors one night. Jaden and lasted till 9:30! The dads on the other hand came in at 11:00!

I always knew that dog had the devil in her!

And my funny Jaden story of the week...
We are working harder on potty training and now she gets money when she pottys. Yesterday we had to go the bank to get the first of many money orders for Warren's adoption. Jaden and I talked about what it was for before we went in. When we were inside I told her to tell the lady why we were getting the money and she said "Because I am peeing and pooping in the potty so I get money!" She was very proud of herself and the lady thought it was a hoot! Only Jaden!

Pool time!

So we decided to join the local YMCA so Jaden could take swimming lessons and she and I could enjoy the pool all year round. She and I have already been a few times and she loves it. She will start her lessons next month. One day when I get my adapter I will be able to download our other pool pictures but for now you can take a look at last nights fun in the water! You will notice that Jaden's lips are blue because for some reason the pool was freezing last night! I felt like we needed to pee in the water just to warm it up! (not that we did or anything!)
