Long awaited update!

Yes I know it has been a long time since I have updated. You would think that since I am a stay at home mom without a baby I would have all the time in the world. The truth is I do! I just have not felt like updating. But alot has happened in the adoption world. Well not alot but some! Two BIG events have taken place.
#1. On March 15,2008 we celebrated our 2 year LID!!! Who would have thought it? Our six months has now turned into 24 months plus. I spent the day in Mississippi at the St. Paddy's day parade! Nothing like spending the big day with the good ol sweet potato queen and all the wanna b's!(I know most of you have no idea what I am talking about but its real and there is even a book about it!)
#2 And this is the biggest thing! CCAA has finally started sending out referrals for those of us LID in 2006!!! The last referrals covered up to 1/4/2006. It was very exciting to finally see our year!
So those are the two big things. I know they don't mean much to everyone else but to us it is huge!
So other things that have happened has been SNOW! I am so tired of snow I could scream. When we first moved to Ohio I was kinda excited because I would finally see snow. You don't see any of the white stuff in Mississippi! The first two snowfalls I was excited. The third and fourth time I was tired of it. When we got the freak blizzard of 2008 and we got 21 inches I decided it was time to pack my bags and my dogs and go South! So me and the 3 dogs drove to Mississippi for some warmth, Tony's tamales, and good ol bar-b-q! And the best of all was that when I went to the restaurants they had sweet tea!!! I was in Heaven. One day the temp was 76 there and in Ohio it was freezing! Crazy! Then it came to and end and I had to go back home, but I didn't leave empty handed! No I had a sunburn from hell and a sinus infection to match! I was sick and had a fever and I had to drive straight through with rain after Nashville, it took me 13 hours!!! With a carsick dog! Sorry mom and dad but I doubt I will be making that drive again anytime soon!
Now I am waiting patiently for our trip to Disneyworld! We leave 3 weeks from today! I love Disney! I would take Disney over any trip of course except for China! Speaking of I really feel like we will be getting our referral in 2008. I really feel it! I know some will think I am crazy but I know this is it!
Anyway I promise to update more often. I feel better now that it is closer and I know my loyal two readers like when I update!!!
