Well this weekend I had a small baby shower with 6 friends that I have met since moving here. It was so nice of them to do that for me and it was so much fun. We had a great time at a very nice Chinese restaurant. I kept waiting for us to be thrown out due to all the noise we made! I want to thank Amy, Melissa, Kearston, Amy's mom Sandy, Jen, and Tracy. All the gifts were great, from the bath stuff, toys, baby care items, wonderful homemade purse and mouse, and the stuff for me for the plane ride! But I have to say that the gift that brought me to tears and I think everyone else at the table was the special bracelet from Amy, Melissa, Sandy and Kearston. I am sorry to everyone else but there is no topping those bracelets. They have all seen Jaden's room and know that the kid lacks for nothing!(Hey, I had to have something to do for three years!) When Melissa brought her wonderful daughter Lily home from China they started a tradition of buying a charm for a bracelet on the anniversary of Lily's family day. Well these wonderful people got together and started a bracelet for not only me but for Jaden too! My bracelet already has a fortune cookie, yin/yang sign, heart, ladybug, baby carriage, airplane, jade, and the cutest baby shoe with ladybugs on it. I have been wearing it all day! Jaden's little bracelet has a star, sun and heart which is what her name means. So now every year on Jaden's family day we will get a charm for my bracelet and her's together.(I have to admit that I have already spent time on the internet today picking out which one I will get on our referral day, ya'll may have created a monster) I have to admit that it really hit me when I put my bracelet and Jaden's next to each other to take the picture. Wow, in a few months my daughter is going to be wearing that bracelet! Thank ya'll so much, that will be something that we will both cherish forever!
