My bi-monthly update!

Once again I am slacking but I am blaming it on the 2 year old!   Between Doctor appointments and therapy I just want to crash when I have a free moment.
Jaden has been great with everything and is taking it all in stride.  She understands we have to do it all to help her baby brother.  When we are not running around I try to come up with ways to keep the kids busy.  Last week we decided to go to the beach in the kitchen!  This was a BIG hit with both kids!

We have of course had a few playdates, one of which we got to make our own pizzas!  This went over big with my crew!

I also must have been taking drugs last week because when my neighbor asked if I wanted to go with her to Chuck E Cheese I said yes!  Never again!  Chasing a 4 year old and 2 year old all over a germ invested mad house is not my idea of fun!

The past few weeks we have also been celebrating Chinese New Year!  2013 is the year of the snake.  For some unknown reason I decided it would be fun to go to 3 different CNY celebrations!  Not sure what I was thinking.  I am now hearing the Lion drums in my nightmares!
The first party was our local COFCC CNY celebration!  Jaden was not to happy that she had to dress up "Chinese" but she got over it when I told her she looked like a princess!

The next day we had a dinner planned with Jaden's playgroup!  More Chinese food and more Lion dancing!

I am happy to say that Jaden is no longer afraid of the Lions.  But she is quick to say she does not like it when the lion "throws up" the cabbage and the orange.  I for one have to agree with her on this!

Four days later we went to our 3rd and final Chinese New Year event.  This time it was girls only and it was to the local Chinese community group!  We decided to forgo the outfits since we wanted to not stick out!  This made Jaden very happy!  She was also happy cause she got to go with her favorite group the C girls!(minus Cammie!)

After our second CNY event we had to book it to the Hockey rink so the kids could watch their first hockey game!  Jaden was a little overdressed but we all had a great time and I am sure we will be back!  Jaden loved it when our team scored and luckily they did it a lot that night!

And finally we actually had two days in the past two weeks when we were actually able to go outside without freezing to death!  I am so ready for spring!!!

And just cause I think its funny here is a picture I took of our refrigerator last night!
It seems no one in our family can drink the same milk!!!
