A dream come true!

Jaden loves rocks! When we take her walking she has to pick up rocks along the way. Her wagon holds her rock collection. If we are outside she has a rock in her hands at all times. Today while she was napping the builders across the street dumped a pile of rocks in the lot next to our house. After nap we decided to take a walk and when Jaden saw the rocks her eyes just lit up and she had to go right to it! I think she was amazed and didn't know how she was going to get all these rocks into her wagon for her collection! Mommy let her pick her favorite one and of course carry it the rest of the way on our walk! I guess I will have to start checking her pockets before I wash clothes!
She also got to play with her puppy friends Buddy and Iggy today. Buddy is a good soccer player!

A day at the zoo with friends!

Today Jaden and I headed out to the zoo to meet up with her new friends Mattie and Audrey! She had a great time trying to keep up with the big kids!




And the best part of the whole day for me was that her trying to keep up with the big kids wore her out and she was asleep before we left the parking lot! Yes!!!

Oh yhea we are still celebrating!!!

Yhea we know that it is the end of April, but at our house we celebrate The Saints Super bowl victory and Mardi Gras everyday!!! And you just think that that is milk in that bottle!!!

Child labor, who me???

Today was Spring cleaning here in our house! We have a rule here, no matter how old or how special you think you are you have to pitch in.(the rule just started today) So as mommy set out cleaning all the carpets in the house and the dusting the blinds, Jaden got to work dusting the bottom of the blinds!


Then it was on to vacuuming the Ottoman.




Then it was time to clean the kitchen!




Lancie has been needing a bath so Jaden got to work dusting the dirt off of her. That turned into fun times with Lancie.






Whew after all that work Jaden had to take a break along with her baby and watch a little Sesame Street! Everybody has to earn their keep around here!!!

A milestone day!

So today marks a milestone for our little girl. Today she has been with us one day longer than she spent in Ch*na! She has come so far in the time that we have had her. She has grown and changed by leaps and bounds. She has gone from a very scared baby to a happy & VERY active toddler! I can not believe how lucky WE are to have her in our lives! We love you so much Jaden!

A day at the zoo!

So today I decided to take Jaden to the zoo and burn off some energy! We had a blast. All the animals were out and about because of the nice weather and it wasn't crowded at all. Our main goal was to see the four new baby manatees who are here visiting. We got to see them and the triplet lions too! Jaden did alot of walking and riding. After 3 hours she was ready to head home and so was mommy!!!

Hating the Paparazzi!

Most of the pictures I get of Jaden are of her back. This is not because I take bad pictures but because Jaden has decided she is no longer a fan of the paparazzi, otherwise known as her mom with a camera! She sees the camera a turns the other way. I guess I cant blame her because she has pretty much had it in her face since she came home! So I decided that one way to get pics of her face was to do it while she was on the potty. Yep I went there! Desperate times call for desperate measures. So I got to take pics of the many faces of Jaden on the potty!

I know one day she will get me for that! I just couldn't pass it up!
