Tigers, Birthdays, Chickens and mooncakes!

Jaden has had a busy week and a half! I have no clue what Rusty and I did before she came. I think I remember something about sleep and alot of free time! That no longer happens. Well the sleep part still happens for one of us but lets just say its not me!
Of course the zoo is our second home so we had a visit to the zoo to see lions and tigers and bears oh my! We went with our friends M & G!



Last weekend we had Chinese school which meant lots of dancing, singing and friends!




The next day we had a birthday party for our good friend A! We had fun playing games and eating cake!!!



We also did some walking so we could catch the last rays of the summer!



We also did some house cleaning!

This week we went to the county fair with A & M! We had a good time petting animals. While we were at the fair a chicken decided to bite Jaden and leave a beak print on her finger! I also realized that the south does not hold the patent on rednecks, they are alive and well and living in Ohio!





Friday Rusty's parents came into town so we decided to go back to the fair. Jaden got to ride a few rides. We had to work ourselves up to letting her ride the baby ferris wheel and once we did she loved it!






And finally, yesterday our local FCC group celabrated the Harvest moon festival! This was the first time we attended this and it was great! We had a picnic lunch and the kids got to play, do crafts and of course we got to be in a latern parade! It was alot of fun and we cant wait till next year to do it again!

Today Jaden and I went over to our wonderful friend T & M's house for a play date! Jaden had a great time and was so excited to see her pal! Mommy got to have an adult conversation while Jaden played and I needed that! Jaden had a great time playing dress-up(see some of that in our future) and playing outside. Of course that was until her mommy decided not to catch her when she came down the slide and she hit her rear end pretty hard. Sorry about that! Jaden was so tired and was asleep before we got a mile down the road!

Week(a little more) in review!

I have been meaning to sit down and post our Labor day fun, but someone has been VERY needy lately! So I am going to try to post what we did last week while I can!
On Labor day we decided to go to the Olentangy Indian Caverns! We went down in the caverns first. Had a known the stairs were gonna be so steep we probably would have skipped that but thank goodness we made it out with only a hurt arm for Rusty.



After we found our way out of the cavern, we decided to let Jaden show us her mad skills in Putt-Putt!


There were some unexpected hazards on the course, but we were able to finish our game.


We finished the day by mining for gems.



We decided to have a low key week because the week before had been so busy. Jaden and I hung around the house all week. We played outside and went on walks.




Jaden threw quite a few fits this past week. If something did not go her way she let me know!

Saturday we had our monthly playgroup. Funtimes were had by all.



Then it was time for some tiger football! Thank goodness they won!



Yesterday we hit the zoo in the morning with Jodus, Uncle Took, and Aunt Lissa.





We had to rush home and had five minutes before we had to leave for our next adventure. We were on to our good friends house for the all horse parade and a gotcha day celebration!








Jaden had a blast! She did not have a nap all day and was asleep before we pulled our car out of the parking space!

And finally Jaden decided that she could climb out of her crib last week. No picture of that but today I took the rail down and she now has a toddler bed! She slept in it for her nap and HOPEFULLY soon she will sleep in it at night time!
