A date with a mouse and lets go fly a kite...

Don't get excited, it wasn't that Mouse! It was this mouse...

And Jaden just wasn't into him like she is the other mouse! Can't say I blame her! Anyway I took Jaden and we met up with my wonderful friend Kelley and her sweet girl Grayce! The girls had a great time playing while we enjoyed talking! The best thing was there was hardly no one else there!!!

The wind here this week has been crazy! So what better way to enjoy the wind then flying a kite...

My little artist!

Jaden loves to color and loves to draw. Up until now it has been the usual toddler scribbles. You know, the kind where you have to ask them what it is they drew! But today she was drawing and I could actually tell what it was she was drawing! Check out the first example...

Now to the untrained eye that would be scribbles but to the mommy eye that is an elephant! Of course even I am not quite sure why the grass is in the sky! For her second picture she decided to pick someone she loves as her model...

That someone would be her daddy! I am sure you could tell. She got a little carried away with one of the eyes and poked a hole in the page but it is still her daddy in his "dress" she told me. (maybe Rusty is a cross dresser and he hasn't told me yet?) And finally Jaden decided to make her most favorite person in the world her model...

Yep! That would be Me! Notice how she even got the hair color on both of us right. Now you may be asking yourself what those purple dots are for? Well Jaden informed me that those were her Mommy's boobies! So you would think that I walk around flashing everyone, but I don't. I guess it is time to stop letting Jaden take a bath with mommy! And of course I have to throw in a picture of the artist!

I think she did a pretty good job for a 3 year old!

Chinese school, swimming lessons, the zoo and a party!

So that title wraps up our week with a few other things thrown in! We had our next to last Chinese class here last Saturday! Luckily it was a small class and we could handle it easily! We also took the time to take some pictures for our dossier.

Yes I know, the last picture is really going to win over those wonderful people in Ch*na who are reading our file! We also had time to play with our good buddy Andrew outside one night!

Jaden also started her swimming lessons this week! I plan to keep her in them year around so she can be a great swimmer like me! Yhea right! She loved her first lesson and thankfully there are only 5 kids in her class!

And Jaden was so excited to have Andrew over for dinner that same night!

The next day we decided to go to the zoo, just the two of us. It was such a pretty day and it was nice to enjoy the zoo and of course ride the train and carousel.

And finally yesterday we had a birthday party for our neighbor Sophie that we went to. This caused a lot of confusion for poor Jaden since her China Sophie has the same name. So I just told her one was Chinese like her and one was not. She seemed ok with this explanation!

A strange thing happened after the party. The child I brought home from the party fell asleep at 7:50! I even took a picture to show proof...

At first I thought I may have brought the wrong kid home. But at 9:30 she woke up ready to go so I new it was Jaden! And she stayed up til 12:30. One day I will get some free time. I just better do it before Warren comes home!
