Six months ago today!

It has been six months now since I have slept through the night.
Six months since I was able to get in the car and go without it taking at least 20 minutes.
Six months that I have had to make three meals a day.
Six months since I have had an immaculately clean house.
Six months since I could stay up all night and sleep in late.
Six months since we were able to sit down to a meal and eat in quiet.
Six months since I have been able to watch the View!

But it also been six months of Barney and Elmo!
Six months of toys all over the floor.
Six months of play dates and music classes.
Six months of three messy meals a day.
Six months of laughter and giggles.
Six months of being woken up in the morning by kisses from my girl.
Six months of having someone to rock to sleep.
Six months of reading books before bedtime.
This has been six months of complete joy finally having our daughter home where she belongs. Finally becoming a family of three.

Its so hard to believe that just six months ago we were all in a meeting room at the JinFeng hotel in Nanchang China and they walked in and handed me a beautiful baby girl who was scared to death, and just like that we were a family. Jaden has come so far in these past six months. She has gone from a crying scared baby to a very strong willed and happy toddler. She is also a Diva and a Drama queen! Its her way or no way. She is a big time Mommy's girl but still loves her daddy. She is always happy and so smart that it is scary.
We went through so much to bring this little girl home to her family. It was so hard and many times I thought we would never get our daughter. I am so glad that we stuck it out and waited for her. She is everything I could have imagined and more. I could not imagine life with out her.
And while she may be a handful sometimes, I would not change it for a minute. She is the love of our life and I am so glad that we have her in our life! We love you Jaden!
